WHEN STANDARD IS NOT ENOUGH

What Are Custom Industrial Blades?

Custom blades are specified for a particular machine, material and cutting task rather than selected only by a general product name.

A custom or OEM replacement review may be useful when the standard blade size does not match the machine, the original blade is discontinued, the hole pattern is non-standard, or the existing blade wears too quickly.

The objective is not simply to copy the outside shape. The blade needs to be checked against the machine interface, cutting material, working conditions and required replacement quantity.

  • Non-standard dimensions, bore, slots or mounting holes
  • Old or imported equipment with limited replacement information
  • Special edge forms, tooth profiles or cutting directions
  • Problems such as short blade life, chipping, burrs, dust or tearing

What Information Should You Send?

You do not need a complete technical specification before contacting us. Send the information available, and we can identify what still needs to be confirmed.

01
Existing referenceDrawing, sample, old blade photo, OEM part number or machine model.
02
DimensionsLength, width, thickness, outside diameter, bore, slots or hole spacing.
03
InstallationBlade position, mounting seat, cutting direction and machine interface.
04

05
Current problemShort life, chipping, burrs, dust, tearing, poor fit or discontinued supply.

For photos, include a ruler or a known-size reference when possible. A photo can help identify the blade family, but it is not enough to confirm final fitment by itself.

FROM INFORMATION TO SUPPLY

Custom Blade Review Process

A clear review process helps separate confirmed dimensions from details that still need to be measured.

Step 01

Send the available details

Start with a drawing, sample, old blade photo, machine model, OEM part number or a short description of the cutting problem.

Step 02

Review the application and fitment

Review the blade shape, dimensions, mounting details, working material, blade position and known failure mode.

Step 03

Confirm the working specification

Record the approved blade type, dimensions, hole or bore layout, edge form, material requirement, quantity and inspection details.

Step 04

Review before delivery or repeat supply

Confirm the product against the approved reference before delivery, and keep the agreed details together for future replacement orders.

FITMENT FIRST

What Can Be Matched or Reviewed?

These are confirmation fields, not a universal public parameter table. The correct specification depends on the machine and cutting duty.

  • Overall length, width, thickness, outside diameter and bore
  • Slots, mounting holes, hole spacing and countersink details
  • Straight, circular, serrated, toothed, perforating or special-profile edges
  • Blade position, cutting direction and matched blade relationships
  • Material, hardness and treatment requirements

Not sure what to measure?

Send clear photos of both sides of the blade, a ruler reference, the machine brand and model, the blade position and the material being cut.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Custom Blade FAQ

Can you review a custom blade from a sample instead of a drawing?

In many cases, a sample or clear old-blade photo is a useful starting point. Include the machine model, key dimensions, blade position and material being cut. The final specification must be confirmed before production or supply.

What information is needed for a custom blade quotation?

Send the blade type, machine model or OEM part number, dimensions, hole or bore layout, material being cut, current blade problem, quantity and delivery country. A drawing, sample or photo helps the review move faster.

Can you match a replacement blade to an existing machine?

We can review the machine model, existing blade, mounting details and working material to help identify a suitable replacement or custom configuration. Compatibility should be confirmed from complete fitment information rather than appearance alone.

Do you support discontinued or non-standard machines?

Discontinued and non-standard machines can be reviewed when an old blade, drawing, OEM part number, machine model or measured dimensions are available.

How should I choose the blade material or edge type?

The choice depends on the material being cut, impact and abrasive load, cutting speed, corrosion or washdown conditions, required blade life and the machine interface. Share the working conditions and current blade problem for review.

Can I start with a trial quantity?

If a trial quantity is suitable for the blade type and order arrangement, confirm this when sending the inquiry. The trial specification, quantity and inspection requirements should be agreed before the order proceeds.
