Industrial Shredder Components

Shredder Blades for Matched Cutting Systems

Replacement rotor knives, cutter discs and related cutting components for single-shaft and double-shaft shredders.

The right blade is selected around the machine, part position, fixing detail and working condition. Start with the cutting system—not a size copied from an unrelated supplier listing.

What are shredder blades?

Shredder blades are the cutting components that engage, tear and reduce material inside an industrial shredder. The exact part depends on the machine arrangement and its position in the cutting chamber.

01 / Single-shaft

Rotor knives

Replaceable knives mounted on a single rotor and used with fixed counter knives to control the working gap.

02 / Double-shaft

Cutter discs

Coordinated cutter discs or claw-style cutters arranged on two shafts with spacers and a defined cutting relationship.

03 / Fixed side

Counter knives and wear parts

Fixed knives, holders, spacers and related components that must match the surrounding machine structure.

Product forms and visible blade details

These images show examples of the product areas we review. They illustrate visible geometry, not a universal size or compatibility standard.

For an accurate match, send the machine model, part position, key dimensions and a clear photo or drawing whenever possible.

What needs to match before a blade is quoted?

A replacement part is a fit-and-duty decision. The same outside size can still belong to a different machine or cutting position.

01 / Machine

Machine arrangement

Confirm whether the machine uses one rotor or two, and record the brand, model or a clear machine photo.

02 / Position

Part position

Identify a rotor knife, counter knife, cutter disc, claw, spacer or another component in the cutting chamber.

03 / Geometry

Fixing and bore details

Photos or drawings should show the bore, keyway, fixing pattern, thickness, seat and cutting direction.

04 / Duty

Working condition

Material, contamination, wrapping risk, impact and target output help define the practical replacement focus.

Typical problems we help investigate

A problem description helps us decide what to check first. It does not replace machine and part verification.

Problem 01

Edge chipping or cracking

Review impact, contamination, mounting, cutting clearance and whether the blade position is correct for the machine.

Problem 02

Wear that develops too quickly

Compare the working material, abrasive load, cutting duty, material choice and the condition of the surrounding parts.

Problem 03

No drawing or uncertain fit

Use the machine model, worn sample, clear photos and key dimensions as a starting point for a replacement review.

A clear route from worn blade to replacement

Send the information you already have. We can identify what is missing before production details are confirmed.

01 / IdentifyShow the machine and worn part

Share the machine model, installation position and clear photos of the old knife or cutter.

02 / ReviewCheck the fit-critical details

We review dimensions, bore, fixing, stack or seat information and the working material.

03 / ConfirmApprove the replacement scope

Only after the machine and part details are clear do we confirm material, quantity and production requirements.

Why this page does not publish one universal size table

Shredder blades are not interchangeable simply because several listings show similar dimensions. A useful quotation must connect the number to one verified machine and part position.

What we can support

Our first step is to clarify the cutting system and the replacement scope before any production detail is treated as final.

Support 01

Route identification

Separate single-shaft rotor knives from double-shaft cutter discs and related wear parts.

Support 02

Drawing or sample review

Review the information available from a drawing, worn component or clear installation photos.

Support 03

Custom replacement scope

Clarify geometry, fixing, material and quantity only after the machine relationship is understood.

Support 04

Photo-based first check

Use photos, dimensions and application details to identify missing information before quotation.

Have a worn part in hand? Send its photos and the machine information for a focused review.

Shredder blade questions

Short answers before you send a replacement request.

Can I order a blade by outside dimensions alone?

It is safer to provide the machine and part position as well. Bore, fixing, seat, cutting direction and stack arrangement can change the fit even when outside dimensions look similar.

What if I do not have an OEM drawing?

Send clear photos, the machine model and the key dimensions you can measure. A worn sample can also provide a useful starting point for a fit review.

Should I request single-shaft or double-shaft knives?

Check the rotor arrangement first. Single-shaft machines normally use rotor knives and counter knives, while double-shaft machines use coordinated cutter stacks on two shafts.

Can you supply a custom replacement?

We can review drawing-based or sample-based replacement requests after the mounting and working details are confirmed.
